I have enjoyed arts and crafts for as long as I can remember. I recall thinking how crafty my oldest sister was when she created furniture for my Barbies out of cardboard and construction paper. She used to make Christmas decorations for our home back in the 60's - many moons before Pinterest was around for inspiration! I hope to pass the love of art on to our grandchildren. Last year our granddaughter had a blast painting. I thought maybe she'd forgotten about it but she asked to do it again a few weeks ago, but time didn't permit ... I will definitely make sure we leave room in our busy schedule for some paint time next time she visits our house!!
